Welcome to Sports Podiatry Manly, your trusted Northern Beaches sports-focused podiatry clinic.
Our experienced team specialise in comprehensive lower limb care, from complex running-related injuries to rehabilitation of various musculoskeletal conditions of the hip, knee, ankle, and foot.
Our Podiatrists are uniquely qualified holding specialised training for the endorsement of scheduled medicines, allowing us to prescribe and administer medicines such as antibiotics and corticosteroid injections. This enables us to provide a high degree of comprehensive care tailored to your specific needs.
In addition to our core services, we also provide all other podiatric services including custom foot orthotics, minor surgical procedures for ingrown toenails or warts, skin and nail treatments, blister relief, diabetic assessments as well as footwear advice.
The Podiatrists at Sports Podiatry Manly believe in collaboration with local General Practitioners, sports physicians and surgeons as well as participate and volunteer with local run clubs and triathlon groups within the Northern Beaches and Manly area.

Who we are
Maddie Parker
Maddie is the founder of Sports Podiatry Manly, located on the Northern Beaches. As a passionate podiatrist she has a keen interest in sports medicine and the treatment of lower limb musculoskeletal conditions, footwear prescriptions, and running-related injuries having previously worked for The Running Room & Posh Pod Manly.
Maddie holds a Bachelor of Podiatry Practice with Honours (First Class) and is currently pursuing her PhD research at Monash University, focusing on AI integration in podiatry practice. Her research has been presented at the ASICS Sports Medicine Conference in Australia, and she is a published author in Footwear Science, specialising in lower limb conditions among Winter Sports athletes.
With a comprehensive background in podiatry, Maddie excels in treating lower limb musculoskeletal conditions, running-related injuries, ingrown toenail surgery, diabetic and paediatric foot and lower limb health. She is also skilled in providing referrals for diagnostic imaging, prescribing orthotics, performing radial shockwave therapy, dry needling, as well as foot and ankle mobilisations.
Drawing from over 14 years of experience as a competitive figure skater, including national and international competitions and training for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, Maddie understands the importance of peak physical condition. Continuing her passion for sports and fitness she now enjoys the training process for triathlons having participated in numerous local events and Ironman 70.3.
Maddie's expertise as an elite athlete lends invaluable insight into helping others achieve their peak performance. Outside the clinic, she remains active with the Manly Vipers Tri Club and enjoys chatting all things footwear with Sydney’s most respected speciality shoe store - PACE ATHLETIC.


Who we are
Harriet Thurlow
Harriet is a charismatic podiatrist with exceptional and unique experience. She is an Endorsed podiatrist which allows her the ability to prescribe and administer scheduled medicines such as antibiotics and corticosteroid injections. By having completed this qualification, it allows her to provide holistic treatments, saving patients time and money.
Driven by her lifelong love of sports and exercise; having played high-level volleyball for 16 years, participated in short triathlons, and now attending a strength and conditioning gym, Harriet has developed a keen interest in lower limb biomechanics.
Harriet recognises the profound impact that all foot-related concerns can have on her patients' well-being. Therefore, her abilities extend seamlessly from minor surgical procedures to addressing complex and demanding lower limb injuries. She employs a multifaceted approach to musculoskeletal injuries, integrating modalities such as running assessments, strength and conditioning, orthotic therapy, shockwave therapy, and dry needling.
Harriet is also passionate about sports medicine and professional growth. She sits on several committees, including being chairperson for the NSW Sports Medicine Australia local council and Medicines in Podiatry committee. She holds memberships with Sports Medicine Australia, Australian Podiatry Association and the Australsian College of Podiatric Surgeons.
Harriet loves to educate her peers, and has articles published in the national podiatry magazine, Stride, and has presented at local conferences. She also enjoys mentoring her peers and is about to become a mentor for other podiatrists wishing to complete their endorsement. It is evident that she loves the podiatry profession and enjoys contributing to its sustained growth over the long term.
